Jessalyn J Taylor

Jessalyn is PhD candidate at the Sydney School of Veterinary Science, University of Sydney. Her PhD research focuses on the impacts of anthropogenic disturbance on Australian fur seals, particularly regarding vessel noise from recreational activities and wildlife tourism. Jessalyn’s background is in human impacts on animal behaviour and welfare, and her previous research has examined the impact of human-animal interactions on zoo-housed fur seals. Jessalyn’s overall goal is to progress our understanding of anthropogenic impacts on wildlife and how they can be mitigated as part of species conservation management.
