James A Donaldson
James is the Executive Officer for the Wet Tropics Waterways Partnership. He first moved to the Wet Tropics in 2011 when he was studying the freshwater fish communities around Cape Tribulation for his honours degree, falling in love with the aquatic systems we're lucky enough to have up here. From there he went on to work on fish passage projects in Mackay, aquatic research in the Wet Tropics, Wetland Management in the Murray Darling Basin and most recently managing a project on the threatened golden shouldered parrot. James is passionate about communicating the value of our unique waterways and working with stakeholders to convert complex data into understandable messages about waterway health.
