Conor Jones
Conor is a Principal Scientist at BMT, with over 20 years post-graduate experience in ecological research and environmental consulting. His theses examined interactions between parasites, fishes, and recruitment on the Great Barrier Reef. In environmental consulting he works with a wide variety of environmental variables, including marine fauna, flora, habitat condition, and ecological health. He enjoys mapping, monitoring, and restoration of marine habitats using divers, and remote methods (drones, satellites, acoustic, and towed cameras). Conor is the technical director of the Douglas Shoal restoration monitoring for the Reef Authority, and is currently involved in three restoration projects on the GBR.
