Marissa J. Hutchings
Marissa is a first year PhD candidate with the Cetacean Ecology Behaviour and Evolution Laboratory at Flinders University in Adelaide. Her work here is focused on the spatio-temporal distribution, population dynamics and photo-morphometrics of killer whales frequenting Australian waters. However, Marissa will be presenting research from her Honours degree which she completed with the Minke Whale Project at James Cook University in Townsville. This research explored the colour pattern complexity of dwarf minke whales on the Northern Great Barrier Reef.
