Jessica Bergman
Jesse is a marine microbial ecologist at the University of New South Wales whose PhD focuses on 1). defining the role of a generalist coral species across environments and 2). physiological response to warming or environmental change in each of these environments. Her research uses a holistic integration of the meta- and associated micro-organism response of Pocillopora damicornis to understand how generalist coral species may be able to capitalise on variability across their geographic range to succeed in the face of climate change.
