Peter C Doll
Peter Doll is currently a PhD candidate at the ARC Centre of Excellence for Coral Reef Studies based at James Cook University. Peter has a research background in reef fish ecology but since joining the ARC CoE in 2019 he has primarily been working on the biology and ecology of the notorious crown-of-thorns starfish. His current research mainly focuses on larval settlement in this destructive coral predator and combines molecular-based field protocols with laboratory experiments to resolve persistent information gaps surrounding this critical early life-history stage.
