Carly Randall
Carly Randall is a benthic and restoration ecologist at the Australian Institute of Marine Science investigating reproductive biology and early-life history processes in corals. She uses controlled laboratory experiments combined with larger ecological field studies to investigate the drivers of mortality in the earliest stages of a coral’s life, and applies those findings to inform methods development for reef restoration. She currently leads the Woppaburra Coral Project, focused on optimising coral seeding devices, and a subprogram with the Reef Restoration and Adaptation Program’s Coral Aquaculture and Deployment Program.
